Google Voice is an app that lets you get a free phone number and then place and receive calls. Here is an overview of the app.
The first time you launch Voice, you must create an account. You must then choose a number. I will not go into much detail about this, but it is fairly intuitive.
The first thing we’re going to explore is place a call. This leads you to the dialpad, where you can dial a person. You can also then, by default, press four to start recording recording the call, but that’s only if you’re receiving the call.

Receiving a call is quite simple, and it only includes calling the phone number from another phone. You will hear a ringtone, and then you can double-tap answer near the bottom.
Settings are quite seamless and are not very many. You can set up voicemale greeting, turn on and off incoming call options, and more.
